Make-Up Haul!

So Debenhams had 10% off throughout their beauty department so I thought I'd treat myself! Here are the products I bought...

Firstly something I have wanted for SO long.... The NAKED 2 Palette by Urban Decay. I was so excited to get this and ever since I've had it I've used it everyday... I love it!

The palette has a lovely range of warm brown and nude tones. It can be used for creating a subtle every day look or an eccentric evening sophisticated/smokey eye. The palette consists of 12 gorgeous colours.. although at £36, the eye shadow collection is quite pricey, you can definitely tell in the results that it's of the best quality! The eye shadow stays on all day and doesn't fade. There are many jupes for a cheaper price but if you are looking for a palette of matching quality to this, you probably won't find it unless you buy the real thing. The colours are highly pigmented which means you only need to apply a little; this ultimately ensures that the product will last longer so it may be worth the extra money! 9/10

The next purchase I made was one of MAC's lipstick's in the shade 'Hot Gossip'. I personally love lipstick with a slightly subtle pink tone however I'm really picky because although I want it to be noticeable, I don't like really bright, hot pink's as I think they look to cheap on me! This shade is perfect and I love it! I bought it online so I was really scared I wouldn't like it when I arrived. I didn't have time to go to a MAC store as the nearest one to me is in Stratford which is a good 40 minute train journey away! Because I this I did my research; I looked at many different reviews and swatches of pink MAC lipsticks to find one that I liked. Although they come up different on everyone depending on the tone of your skin and your lips, I found that from my research, Hot Gossip was the best. The lipstick is renowned for its long durability and beautiful finish which I totally agree with so I will say no more! 8.5/10

Next up I bought some MAC eyeshadow in the shade 'Charcoal Brown'. I bought this to use on my eyebrows after watching a make-up tutorial by Pixiwoo. I love this stuff however I can't help the feeling that it is going to go down quite quickly, and for £12 that's not too good! A product I find really similar to this is the Brow Zings Kit by Benefit in the shade 'Light'; I used to use it everyday and it's so far lasted me about a year and I'm only about a quarter of the way through it! I still use it on an off now but I wanted to look around at other good brow products. One really good thing about this eyeshadow is that it's more or less smudge proof and it lasts all day. 7.5/10

Next up I bought MAC's Studio Finish Concealer. This concealer sooooooooo good. For £14 you really get what you pay for! It has a lovely creamy coverage that blends into the skin really well. It covers practically all types of blemishes and is small and compact so it's easy to carry around and keep on you. Love it 9/10

Last but not least I had just run out of my favourite foundation, Lancome's Tenit Idole Ultra 24H. I'm not going to bother writing much about this as I have already reviewed it in another post but yeah, I couldn't help but buy it again because it's perfect for my skin type and gives a lovely coverage. In the winter I come up as shade 03 and in the summer I'm an 035
